T2C Curriculum Helped My Son

Good afternoon Dr. Cunningham,

Because of the T2C curriculum and Dr. Cunningham’s wise counsel, my son is off to a good start in college.  Dr. Cunningham helped my son identify careers and possible majors that aligned with his interests and abilities, arrange for informational interviews, and explore college options.  I appreciated that he listened to what my son wanted and took his wishes into account.  He worked to ensure my son understood and was prepared for the challenges he might face transitioning from high school to college. He guided my son using a variety of methods including role-playing so my son could practice discussing his disabilities and requesting services to be successful in his classes.  Also, Dr. Cunningham reached out to various schools’ disability centers to find out if they offered the aid my son would need.  Once my son was accepted to a college and applied for disability services, Dr. Cunningham ensured my son received what he needed and reiterated the importance of actually using the services when he started college.   I am so glad I found Dr. Cunningham to help my son prepare for this milestone in his life.
