Nancy Colantino is a Florida licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is a recipient of its ACE award for continued professional education. Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a designation of summa cum laude from The College of St. Rose in New York and a Master of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida.
Nancy has more than 24 years of experience working with a variety of students ranging in age from four through young adult in a variety of settings including public schools and private clinics. She has vast experience providing comprehensive speech/language and reading evaluations and customizing treatment based on the needs of her clients. She has experience working with children with deficits in speech (articulation, oral motor, motor speech, tongue thrust, and stuttering), language (thinking, listening, speaking, reading, and writing) and social cognition.
She has a passion for language and literacy, and as a Speech-Language Pathologist, has a wide range of knowledge, expertise, and resources to help students, including those with dyslexia and dysgraphia, build confidence and reach their full potential. Nancy has completed structured literacy training including Orton Gillingham, Wilson, Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing Program (LiPS), and Lively Letters.
