Educational Remediation

Kendall graduated from Flagler College with a Bachelors degree in Psychology. Her primary focus was child and adolescent developmental psychology, with a thesis focusing on learning disabilities, and more specifically, the autism spectrum.

She has continued her education and is trained in the Lindamood and Bell Programs: LiPs (Phonemic Awareness/ Language Foundations), Visualizing and Verbalizing (Comprehension/ Memory), Seeing Stars (Symbol Imagery/ Language Development), and On Cloud Nine (Math Foundations). She has also been trained in Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment-BASIC, a multifaceted program focusing on executive functions and critical thinking. In addition, she has been trained to provide the Wilson Remedial Reading Program.

Kendall is passionate about helping children and young adults reach their highest potential. She is very understanding and shares a unique perspective on the stress and anxiety that comes with having a learning disability. Kendall is Dyslexic and went through many of the remedial therapies that she provides today. It is her firm belief, that with the right tools everyone can learn and excel.
