Educational Remediation Specialist
Kalli Turner has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Christian University and 54 hours toward her Masters in Counseling. Prior to moving to Florida, in November of 2020, Kalli was a special education teacher in Texas for 10 years before moving into the role of SEL Coach and School Counselor. After her move, Kalli worked at a school specializing in dyslexia and is Orton-Gillingham and Multi-Sensory Math trained.
For Kalli, seeing the whole student, and student welfare has always been her passion. Working with students who have learning differences allows her to instill in them a belief in themselves. By seeing their strengths and abilities, they can see differences as what makes us unique and a vital part of their community. Being an adult who speaks life into their students is the greatest gift we can give the world. It is her desire to be that adult for any student who needs that, and others who think they don’t!
