Carmen Ramos is a Florida Licensed School Psychologist who received her Education Specialist Degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Carmen Ramos has over 15 years of experience working with children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Ms. Ramos brings experience as an educator in the private sector as well as having worked as a School Psychologist in public schools. Privately, she has worked as a behavioral therapist in residential facilities, in the home, and in schools specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis.
In the public sector, she has worked with school-aged children of all ages. She evaluated students with a variety of needs. She specializes in evaluating Emotional/ Behavioral Disorders, Intellectually Gifted, Intellectually Disabled, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Autism.
She also served on a district behavior team, where she conducted functional behavioral assessments, created behavior plans for a variety of problem behaviors, and provided consultation on curriculum to increase verbal behavior with students with limited communication skills. She has provided many workshops to staff members on teaching students with special needs, inclusion, and managing problem behavior.
