Betty Hagler graduated from Fiorello La Guardia College Of The City University Of New York with an AA Degree in Mental Health/Child Psychology.   She brings over 18 years of experience in both general & special education classrooms in Public & Private Schools.

Ms. Hagler has enjoyed working in different roles throughout her career as a Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Spanish translator & Applied ABA Therapy assistant.  She also offers parent coaching and support within the home to help the child and family reach goals for the most positive outcome for success.

Betty brings the following areas of expertise to the Center and to her clients:

  1.  Help children develop better self-regulation skills within the home
  2. Improve independent daily living skills and social/emotional interactions
  3. Improve parent/child communication
  4. Teach parents how to improve consistency and develop a positive reward system to increase communication and engagement
  5. Help breakdown routine tasks into small simple steps so the child can be successful

Betty has a passion for working with parents and children to create a peaceful, loving home environment where families can succeed and grow.
