Doctor of Education, Certified School Psychologist
Asha Jaleel is a certified school psychologist with a Specialist degree (Ed.S.) from National Louis University, a Masters in Public Administration from University of South Dakota, and a Doctorate of Education from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Jaleel has over 15 years of working with children, adolescents and adult learners (Pre-K through college) in both public and private schools.
During her more that 15 years working with students, Dr Jaleel provided ADHD and academic coaching using evidenced based interventions. Her out-of-the-box thinking and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge are credited to her rare combination of academic pursuits, diverse ethnic background, professional experiences, and worldly travels, which have provided her with a unique perspective and distinct advantage as a school psychologist that have helped students from all different backgrounds.
Dr. Jaleel has experience in evaluating students with Specific Learning Disabilities, Giftedness, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She also provides academic and life coaching, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and counseling services for students, 1st grade through college. Dr. Jaleel’s goal is to help students become independent and highly motivated learners equipped with growth mindsets and transferable skills needed to excel.
